Untitled

I used to be able to look into your eyes
And see myself reflected inside.
Every part of me in sync with every part of you
I used to know what to do when you said ‘I love you’
Right now, I can’t forget everything you said
Every tear I shed, I cried myself to sleep all alone in that bed, you never said I care
You said you would be there and you weren’t
I lost my best friend, what the hell happened?
What went wrong, when I thought everything was perfect all along?
Why did you let me go, why did you let me break?
Why did you turn away, was there nothing left to take?
I HATE THIS. I HATE
That you’re back, and that easily, my life’s on track.
But I’ll never forget what you did.
I’ll never let you get that close again
Imma never let that happen
I can never trust you like I did, ever again.
But it sucks when I look into your eyes
and I can see that you still believe
I still love you as much as I did then
You don’t get how everything’s changed
You will never understand the pain,
How much I hate this, hate you.
I hate you for making me love you like I do
